Dr. Ngo Thi Kim Cuc, Deputy Director General of National Institute of Animal Science, has made official visit to Taiwan Livestock Research Institute from 23th September to 28th September, 2019 by the invitation of Dr. Jeng-Fang Huang, Director of the Taiwan Livestock Research Institute.

In particular, at the working session on September 24, 2019, the Taiwan Livestock Research Institute held a solemn ceremony to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutes in the witness of the six participating countries of the Workshop (UK, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Laos, and Indonesia). The main contents of the Memorandum of Understanding is that the two Institutes jointly developed a 4-year development plan for Vietnam-Taiwan cooperation on Animal production, synchronously deploying many contents of cooperation within this field in various forms such as exchanging experts and managers; cooperate in scientific research, and organize conferences on international livestock workshops… jointly cooperate with other activities related to the livestock industry so as to initially create an interweaving of interests between the two sides as well as to promote the livestock industry of Vietnam and Taiwan to gradually develop and keep abreast with the livestock industry of advanced countries in the region as well as in the world.
